The controller of personal data is NovaStudios s.r.o., Company ID (IČO) 05074061, with its registered office at Nové sady 988/2, 602 00 Brno, Czech Republic, e-mail: info@novastudios.cz, phone: +420 702 088 938.

We have not appointed a data protection officer — please contact us directly using the details above with any questions.

What data we process and why

Enquiries via the contact form

Name, e-mail, optionally phone number, company and the content of your message. We use them to reply to you and prepare a quote. The legal basis is pre-contractual negotiations at your request; for non-binding enquiries, our legitimate interest in replying.

We keep the data for two years from the last communication. If the cooperation does not go ahead earlier, we will delete it on request.

Ordering a package

When you place an order, we process your first and last name, e-mail, phone, billing address and, for businesses, also the company name, company ID and VAT number. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract or issue an invoice.

The legal basis is performance of the contract and, for accounting documents, compliance with a legal obligation — by law we must keep tax documents for ten years from the end of the tax period.

Newsletter subscription

We only process your e-mail address, on the basis of your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every e-mail or by writing to info@novastudios.cz — your consent then ends and we delete the address.

Website analytics

If you consent, we measure traffic using Google Analytics 4 — how many people came, from where and to which pages. The legal basis is your consent; without it, the measurement script is not loaded at all and not a single request goes to Google.

You can withdraw your consent at any time using the Analytics settings link in the website footer. Details of what is stored and for how long are on the Cookies page.

Payment data

To match payments, we use the variable symbol and the amount from the bank statement. The account number you pay from is never displayed publicly. We do not accept payment cards, so card details never reach us.

Who we share data with

We do not sell data or pass it on to anyone who does not need it to deliver our service. Our processors are:

  • Vercel Inc. — website and server operation (USA, with EU standard contractual clauses)
  • Neon Inc. — website database, servers in Frankfurt
  • Resend — sending e-mails about orders and enquiries
  • Fio banka, a.s. — account management and payment data
  • accounting firm — processing of tax documents
  • Google Ireland Limited — website analytics, only if you consent to it

What we store in your browser

The website does not use advertising cookies and is not connected to any advertising systems.

The browser's local storage (localStorage) holds the contents of your cart, so it doesn't disappear as you move between pages, and your answer to the analytics question. Both stay on your device and you can delete them by clearing the website's data in your browser.

If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics cookies are added — exactly what they contain and how long they last is on the Cookies page.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to its rectification and erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where we process data on the basis of consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Simply send your request to info@novastudios.cz. We will handle it within one month at the latest.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz.

Security

The website runs exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Only a signed-in user can access the administration, and passwords are stored in a form that cannot be read back. An order and its invoice are shown only via a link with a one-time token — the order number alone is not enough.

This policy applies from 2 September 2026.
